AL Wahda Club (Case Study)

On the date of 4/11/2014 we met Mohammed Al-Shehhi (AlWahda club player), and we asked him to contact with the administration of AlWahda club to prepare a meeting with the coach of Al Wahda and other player of possible that we don't interrupt, we were glad and thankful for cooperation of Al Wahda club and Mohammed, we started working on the second day by taking photos ,videos and meetings.

It had merged clubs Emirates and Abu Dhabi under the name of Al-Wahda Sports Club, and a statement issued by the decision of His Excellency the President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, On 03/06/1984 merging clubs (UAE and Abu Dhabi) under the name of Al Wahda number publicity. And it will be in the headquarters of Emirates formerly Club, which is in Hazza Bin Zayed Street in Abu Dhabi.

•  Champions league: 4 times (98/99, 2000/2001, 2004/2005, 2009/2010).
•  President Cup: Once one (99/2000).
•  Super Cup champion: twice (2001/2002, 2011/2012).
•  Federation Cup champions United Arab Emirates Football: 3 times (85/86, 94/95,    2000/2001).
• Champions second level (84/85).

William James McBride

McBride was born at Toomebridge, county Antrim in 1940. He was a former rugby player. He played 63 tests including eleven as captain for Ireland’s team. The rugby player and the Ireland team beat for the first time South Africa in 1965. In their own countries, they defeated also New Zealand and Australia. Mc Bride international career ended in 1975 playing against Wales then, he was coaching the Irish team and manager of British and Irish Lions tour to New Zealand. Mc Bride lives in Ballyclare and was named “Heineken Rugby Personality of Century” in 2004
